Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), the world’s second largest container shipping line, has announced plans to start a new Oceania Express Service with the Port of Tauranga as it s only New Zealand port call. Port of Lyttelton Christchurch says on Thursday that container movements in and out of the port via road and rail are continuing as normal while the port is prioritising work following the 5.6 and 6.3 magnitude earthquakes early this week.
