India is among the three countries in the world where Samsung is launching Galaxy Tab first. The device is powered by Android Froyo, the latest version of Google’s operating software for mobile devices, according to Times of India. 
Samsung is expected to announce shortly that it will offer its seven-inch tablet, the Galaxy Tab, to Australia’s Telstra customers on a plan at a vast reduction on the $1000 it retails at, competiting headon with Apple’s iPad.
