Air-Asia will buy an extra 100 Airbus A320neo jets (a more fuel efficient jet), taking its record-breaking order to 300 planes, according to a report in GulfNews. Cathay Pacific has concluded a purchase agreement with Airbus for the delivery of 30 new A350-900s for HK$60.8 billion (NZD$10.8 billion) with the first of the aircraft to be delivered in 2016, according to the Shipping Gazette.
Cathay Pacific has entered into a letter of intent with the Airbus Company to buy 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline has also expressed its intention to exercise existing purchase rights in respect of six Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, according to a Transport Weekly.com report.
