Liverton checks in to world’s largest casino | Exporter Magazine
New Zealand technology company, Liverton Technology Group, has secured a game-changing deal with the world’s largest casino hotel chain to install its innovative self-check in/out kiosk, SmartCheck.
Liverton’s SmartCheck is a world first for the casino hotel industry and allows guests to bypass the reception desks completely and head straight to their room. Guests will use the touch screen kiosk to scan their passport, provide payment and retrieve their room key cards automatically.
SmartCheck helps hotels speed up guest checking facilities and improve efficiency.
SmartCheck’s strength lies in its ability to integrate with various hardware components, door locking systems, banks, property management systems (including Oracle’s Micros Opera system, the world’s leading PMS systems) into a standalone check-in/out kiosk solution.
SmartCheck will initially be installed into a major 3000 room hotel and casino in Macau, Liverton has been working on the deal for over 15 months.
Justin De Lille, Liverton CEO, says the deal will set Liverton alongside the biggest casino and hotel suppliers in the world and will provide Liverton with further international growth opportunities.
De Lille says Liverton’s partnership with Oracle and its shareholders’ commitment to investment in international growth has been key to bringing SmartCheck to market.

SmartCheck sits within Liverton’s Hospitality division and is one of a number of innovative products developed by Liverton. Liverton’s other divisions include Security, specialising in email security and ISP/Mobile Systems. Liverton is currently experiencing rapid growth and has offices in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and USA.
